God and the Source of Evil

I have learned over the years in studying Scripture, that evil is born out of the issues of the heart. Think about it, an evil act comes from the desires of the heart. Yes, God does allow it, but it does not mean He is the source of it; in fact, it is an abomination to Him (Prov 11:20).  The source of evil is simply a person giving in to the desires of their heart (Gen 6:5, Matt 12:35 and Jer 17:9-10). God allows evil to exist in this world as a means to reveal His glory (place all His attributes on display).  In fact, He is very clear that good and evil will live along side each other until the end of this age (Matt 13:24-31; the explanation of this passage is found in Matt 13:36-43). This is all part of His plan. At the end of the age, He will separate out the good and the evil. The evil will be punished and dealt with completely and with severity. The good will be rewarded and will live in righteousness for all eternity. Whether you believe this or not doesn't matter. The question is, "What if it is true?".
