In Galatians 2 & 3, Paul contrasts faith vs. works. In studying these chapters, I couldn’t help but see the irony of the truth about God in contrast to the belief about God. I have heard many times, “I cannot believe in God because of all His rules.” “I want to live my life the way I want.” What they do not realize is that faith in God releases you from the guilt of not keeping all of those rules and frees you to live how you want to live; in obedience to His rules. Not believing in Him does not release you from those rules, it actually holds you in bondage to them. Gal 3:23
