How do you know you believe?

"Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling." (1 John 2:10 ESV)

Abiding in the light means that there is no internal trigger that leads you into the trap of sin. You will not be an unsuspecting victim, but rather a saint whose steps are secure and directed by the Lord.
